Expensive Car Lease?

September 5, 2011

If you have a car lease you can no longer afford or you’re just looking for away to lower your car costs, think about transferring the car and the lease obligation to someone else or swapping your car and lease for someone who has a car with a lease that is not as expensive as yours.  Leasetrader is a website where you can put together one of these deals and do most of the work online.  But, note, there are costs involved so you will need to compare what you’re going to save with what it will cost you and walk away if a transfer will put you deeper in the hole.  If you are able to make a good trade, put what you saved in your  savings account on a monthly basis.
